With nearly 150 years farming on this land, Gowan family have taken a long view of the health of the land and soil. We strive to pass the best to future generations. So far 6 generations have worked this family farm with a focus on continuing sustainability, regenerative agriculture, and environmental stewardship. Gowan's has been using organic growing practices since 2011 and this year Gowan's Heirloom Cider achieved the CCOF certification for all of our cider orchards. But our commitment to growing pure and natural food for our family and yours doesn't stop there. Below you'll see a picture of a small orchard on the Gowan farm that is part of a nation-wide study that will help organic farmers worldwide.
