Heirloom Apple Harvest Report: Jonathan Apples

This week, we're beginning the harvest of one of the best all-around apples— the Jonathan apple, organic grown here at the Gowan family orchards. They are sweet with some acid, excellent flavor that's unlike any other. And stunningly beautiful. Great for eating, making juice, and cooking too. Heirloom apples are more nutrient-dense, including the antioxidant-rich skin. These tasty organic heirlooms are also great for young children and the elderly.
