Crafted from the rare and elusive Sierra Beauty apple, which was virtually extinct except for the protected trees thriving at Gowan's. Spiritous (warming) and full bodied.
Thought to be extinct, researchers were ecstatic to discover this rare native California apple thriving in Gowan's family orchards. The Sierra Beauty apple is prized for its complex flavor, great acid, and superior baking properties. Excellent for juicing and as a unique and one-of-a-kind single varietal cider—the only one on the market.
